Perched above Wānaka with sweeping views of the lake, this stunning Kirimoko residence called for a lighting design that would complement both its architectural features and its natural surroundings.

Our approach focused on enhancing the home’s strong indoor–outdoor connection, using carefully layered lighting to guide the transition between spaces. Subtle architectural lighting highlights the home’s clean lines, while warm, low-glare fittings create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere throughout.

Feature lighting was thoughtfully integrated to elevate key moments within the home - from softly illuminating living areas that open onto the deck, to creating intimate zones within bedrooms and retreat spaces. Each fitting was selected and positioned with intention, ensuring the lighting not only performs functionally, but enhances the overall experience of the space.

Delivered as a full design and installation package, this project reflects our end-to-end approach - where lighting is considered from concept through to completion to bring the home to life after dark.
